The NIC Scholarship Foundation supports aspiring and current healthcare professionals in pursuing their educational goals. Our scholarships help cover tuition, training, certifications, and continuing education costs for nursing students, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals committed to serving their communities.
Healthcare professionals sacrifice so much for the people they serve. Too often, financial barriers stand between a dedicated nurse and the advanced education they need to grow, lead, and make an even greater impact. The NIC Scholarship Foundation exists to remove those barriers — one scholarship at a time.

The NIC Scholarship Foundation welcomes applications from a wide range of healthcare professionals at every stage of their journey.
Nursing students at any level — from pre-nursing programs through BSN, MSN, and doctoral study — are eligible to apply.
Certified Nursing Assistants who are actively working toward their LPN, RN, or other advanced healthcare credentials.
Licensed Practical Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses pursuing bridge programs, RN licensure, or specialty certifications.
Registered Nurses working toward a BSN, MSN, NP, DNP, or PhD to expand their clinical expertise and leadership capacity.
Healthcare workers seeking professional certifications, specialty training, or continuing education credits that advance their practice.
Active NIC members in good standing receive priority consideration for scholarship awards as part of our commitment to the NIC community.

The NIC Scholarship application process is straightforward. Follow these steps to submit your application and take the next step in your healthcare education.
Confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria listed above. All nursing students, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and healthcare professionals pursuing education or certification are encouraged to apply.
Gather your enrollment verification or professional credentials, a personal statement about your educational goals and commitment to healthcare, and any supporting documentation that demonstrates financial need or community service.
Complete and submit the NIC Scholarship application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You will be contacted by our team once your application has been received and reviewed.
Selected recipients will be notified of their scholarship award. Funds are distributed directly toward eligible educational expenses including tuition, fees, certification costs, and continuing education.
